The 6200 Asylum Push Or Pull Latch - Asylum/Psychiatric is utilized mainly for institutional use such as hospitals and psychiatric wards to eliminate opportunities for self-injury. It combines a Push Or Pull handle on one side with a low projection knob with rounded edges on the opposite side and no screw access. Compact non-handed covers provide maximum clearance between the handle and door for easy operation in any application. For standard 1 3/4” thick doors, UL listed for fire doors. Non-handed. Push or pull. Handle can be mounted Up or Down without any modification. Available only with 2-3/4 backset. Includes all required fasteners and Includes ASA 4 7/8" strike. Meets ADA requirements.
